A renowned dancer, teacher, author, social worker, motivational speaker & Motion Film Director, Smt. Reshmi Pathiyath has been trained by Guru Tanjore P Palaniappan Master, a native of Coimbatore district in Tamilnadu. Under his vigorous tutelage she learned Bharathnatyam Kuchippudi and different Folk dances of Indian & Pan Asian origin. Further she took courses in Mohiniyattam from Kalamandalam. She also grabbed basics of Kathak from Guru Sidhesh Mahadhik.
Reshmi believes arts has the power to transform individuals & communities. She has crossed political borders to popularize Indian dance forms.
She is the Founder & Artistic Director of Athari Fine Arts in UAE for authentic fine arts pursuers. Other than Fine Arts, she also holds degree in Sociology, Business Management & Economics. She has authored the book 'A path untrodden,  Life of an unsung artist'. Her women oriented motion film won the International Book of Records.
 Her paper presentations at major Conferences & Universities connect with spirituality of dance, Women Empowerment & Education. Other than in India & UAE, she has travelled & performed at Srilanka, Nepal, Indonesia, UK, Armenia, Georgia, Seychelles, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia & Europe.
Athari Fine Arts is her on going effort to sustain authentic fine  arts rooted in tradition & blended with technology to enjoy arts at its fullest.
